Membership obligations for Direct Debit No Tie-in:
▪ Members are advised to follow the instructions displayed on the equipment for a safe and effective workout. Should you require further assistance you should speak to a member of staff for more information.
▪ Negligence and failure to operate the equipment correctly could cause injury
▪ You must pay the first months’ membership fee on the day you join and complete a direct debit form. You will also be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to joining. Any change in medical status during your membership period must be made known to the fitness team as soon as possible.
▪ Direct debt memberships are on a roll-on agreement. Membership fees are collected by GOCARDLESS on behalf of Featherstone Sports Centre. Monthly fees will be collected on the 1st of each month. ( +/- 5days)
▪ Membership cancelations require written notice from the 1st of the following month. Completion of an online cancellation form is required in order to proceed with termination (Excluding any freeze period)
▪ You can freeze your membership for up to three months giving at least 2 weeks written notice before the payment date. The minimum freeze period is 1 month.
▪ Membership freezes are inclusive of the 5 month promotional period and cannot be extended.
▪ Monthly fees are payable even if you do not use the club and will be debited from your account at the beginning of each month.
▪ Featherstone Sports Centre maybe closed on some Bank holidays, these days are inclusive in the monthly membership fees.
▪ Your membership is personal to you and cannot be transferred to another person.
▪ The management reserves the right to refuse admission & cancel memberships at any time.
▪ The management reserves the right to change opening hours/prices, make adjustments to the referral scheme, change and update this agreement giving 7 day notice.
▪ All members must follow the centre rules. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your membership. A pro rata amount will be refunded minus any visits charge at the ‘pay as you go’ rate.
▪ Lockers are available for use in the changing areas and no belongings are to be stored within the gym area. Any items left in the lockers overnight will be removed and a fee to have them returned will be charged.
▪ Featherstone Sports Centre is not responsible for any loss or damage to your property whilst on the premises.
▪ The member referral discount applies after the referred member’s first direct debit is payment. If the referred member cancels their membership the discount is automatically removed.
▪ The referring member’s name must be clearly stated on the new members form at the time of joining and cannot be claimed at a later date. The referral discount is automatically removed if a member changes members agreement or price plan, if this happens let us know within 2 months and we will reapply the discount.
▪ If the referred member freezes their account the discount will not be applied to the referrer for that period.
▪ Silver members can access the gym and sauna facilities anytime during our operational hours.
▪ Gold Member can book Badminton and Table Tennis courts free of charge as an additional benefit of their membership. These booking are subject to availability. Courts can be booked up to 7 days in advance. Members can bring up to 3 guest to play free of charge. Any additional guest will be charged £2.50 to attend. This is capped at 6 people per court, the member MUST be present. A member can book up to 1 court for 2 hours per day. Please note: racket/equipment hire is not included and a hire charge is payable for use of equipment.
▪ Members must give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to cancel a booking. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in the member being-charged the full non-member rate for the booking. These fees will be automatically debited from your bank account. Any bookings made on the day of play cannot be cancelled.
▪ Members must inform Featherstone Sports Centre if they are going to be late for their booking. If members do not show within 30 minutes of the start of their booking, it will be regarded as a non-attendance and the full non-member rate will be automatically debited.
We ask all members to be respectful of their neighbours and keep noise to a minimum when arriving and leaving the sports centre.
